Hello, my name is Teppei and I guide tours around the Mount Fuji forest and lake areas.
I’ve worked in tourism for over 20 years and I’m an avid traveler. I’ve spent 2 years back-packing around the world and I’ve been lucky enough to be able to go hiking in areas such as Pakistan, Mongolia, South America and Australia.
Now I’m settled back in Japan and live in Yamanashi, where I can enjoy rock and shower climbing and hiking. I’ve spent a lot of time exploring this area and I’ve become familiar with the rich biodiversity. I also have a keen interest in Japanese culture and specialize in leading tours along the historic pilgrimage routes.
I provide tours suitable for people of all ages and levels of fitness, from gentle tours for those who like to take things easy, as well as more challenging tours for the more active.
